Sentimental

Cleaning up is hard. Getting rid of stuff is hard. Especially when you're the youngest of the hand-me-down generation. Kids these days... hand me downs? Oh no, they've learned early on that hand-me-downs are not cool. So you can't chuck your old shit at your younger cousins. But stuff is just that... stuff. What's important are memories, items of sentimental value. I found my 16th birthday sign book, a slew of notes written to me by my friends when we still lived in the dorms... The Madeline dolls from when I was little... A snippet of the t-shirt given to me by Newsong on Easter, my first church service. A threadless sticker from back when threadless was actually cool. Others are markedly less sentimental. It's nice to see the things that you dig up from your past, and reminisce about the good ol' days.
