On Being Assertive

Is fighting for what you believe in immature or brave? Is it better to turn a blind eye to wrongdoings and wrongsayings, or to face them head on? Is being a rock withstanding the river as it slowly erodes you always the best way to go? I feel like a Gryffindor. I'm supposed to be Ravenclaw.
