Asian Encouragement

Being told that you're smart, stupid, lazy and full of potential all at the same time is confusing. Realizing that you being a smartass when you were a kid is biting you in the back in the present. Being told again and again that you are really really smart even though you look stupid; it's not that you're stupid, but you have no focus. You know all these things and notice things around you no one else does, but don't hone it into a specific skill. I suppose. It's not helping me choose my career.
