Inspiration!

Should you be insulted or pleased when your parents e-mail you inspirational chains about something significant that happened to someone else, or someone who did something great with their life in the face of all adversity? I think I'm starting to come to terms with the possibility that I am ordinary and doing something or being more appreciative of life or going for the gold despite swimming against a riptide isn't going to happen. I'm an upper-middle class girl who has always been berated but never really challenged. You see those stories and videos and just go "oh, how inspirational!" Are you gonna do anything? 9999/10000 say, no.
