Just Friends

It's almost not possible for men and women to be friends, just friends, purely platonic. I have one, maybe two male friends who are purely platonic. A couple of acquaintances. The others fake it. You can sense the underlying emotional tension, sexual tension... And then there are those who stay away, because if they get any closer they'll fall deeper in. I feel powerless; I can't help. Everything I do is just another emotional over-stimulation. So he'll just stay away, and I'll continue sitting here wondering what I've done wrong and what I can do to make it right.
