Introversion

I've been wondering lately; are the real introverts ones who have been conditioned when young by some event. For example, my brother and I are both introverts. A few more friends whose families have had similar problems are also introverts. I must certainly be generalizing, but are there any truly extroverted people who grew up with parents constantly fighting, getting divorced, abuse, moving frequently or along these lines?
